Remote Clinical Trials - Integrating Wearable Sensors

As with most industries, COVID-19s impact on the Clinical Trials landscape has been considerable. A quick analysis from ClinicalTrials.gov shows hundreds of trials are suspended owing to COVID-19. The focus is now moving on how to restart these and initiate new trials in a safe, seamless manner, ensuring compliance is maintained while allowing for the social distancing norms that are likely to be customary for the foreseeable future.

In line with this we are seeing more and more pharma, CROs and research institutions exploring the options for running remote and virtual clinical trials. Wearable sensors that capture continuous digital biomarkers remotely, over an extended period of time will be to the forefront of this pivotal shift.

The Verisense platform, specifically built for the use of wearables in Clinical Trials, with the ability to capture clinically validated data for up to 6 months continuously is ideally positioned to facilitate this transition. Learn more about how Verisense achieves this here
